Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. Her acting career began by playing supporting roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). She was later a reporter Willa McPherson in the FX series Dirt and played a supporting role in the show that ran for a short time The Ex List. She played a young Moira O'Hara in the first season of FX's American Horror Story, and was Kaylee in the season's third. She was Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead, and Sophie on The NBC series This Is Us. She also voices of several characters from the comedy show Family Guy. She has been the voice of Melinda "Mel" Monroe on Virgin River on Netflix since the year 2019. Virgin River since 2019. Breckenridge was born in Darien in Connecticut. She relocated to California with her mother when she was of 10. The family moved around for one year before eventually settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 when she first began to pursue an interest in acting, photography and singing. When she turned 15, she made the move with her mom back to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career
